Art
Exhibition In Nassau, Bahamas - April
2005
April saw me travelling again on behalf of the research, not back to Africa, to somewhere new… to the Caribbean. I had been invited to the opening of a friend's art exhibition in the Bahamas being held in aid of the research. I met Susan Sargent and her fiancé Barrie Farrington when they were guests at Abu camp and we really hit it off. Susan is a very talented artist and the work that was for sale was amazing, capturing the wild. The opening was a huge success as was the exhibition with raised over £2500 for the research. This money ensured the release of another elephant, the oldest bull at Abu Camp, Benny who was released the following July.
