Objectives
Having been involved in research in various forms in the past, (through University, Nanania ranch, Huntingdon Life Sciences and Glaxo), I have been looking to get involved in a full time research project for a while. The base knowledge I have gained through U.A.S.C., F.G.A.S.A. and Elephant Back Safaris has given me an in depth understanding of the environment as a whole and made me realise the most effective research is that of keystone species that therefore are good indicators to the health of the environment as a whole. In addition my experience with the safari industry in various forms over the past 3 years has given me the ideal experience as to how to operate successfully in remote areas. This I believe gives the project every chance of success for everyone involved.
